Our honeymoon
June 21, 2007
Me and my husband drove off to Port Dickson for our honeymoon last 9th June. We stayed at a very comfy apartment by the beach so it was obvious I couldn’t let go off the opportunity to go walk by the beach every morning and afternoon.

We dig our toes into the sand.
And this is the photo I loved a lot ! If we look at it back years from now on and show to our kids it’ll show them how much we are in love with each other every single day.

The next day we hopped onto our car after checking out of the apartment resort and had an unplanned road trip to Melaka. Since we are on a budget, I said to my husband, “Let’s stop at every place that does not require us to pay for anything !” Here we stopped at one of the museums along the way.

Once we reached Melaka, we hopped onto a trishaw ride as the talkative trishaw driver (sp?) took us all around the historical Melaka and briefed us on every single place.

The very same day, 10th June, we drove back home to KL anticipating another boring work day the next day. Bleh.
The coolest bumper sticker ever
May 3, 2007
Some of the cool things I owned were given by my best friend, Leila. One of them is this bumper sticker that I believe clearly describes me the best : cynical but fun.

Do you notice Lambert the sheep next it ? Say hi and wave, Lambert !
Kelana Jaya LRT station
May 3, 2007
I think after me and Azry get married, Kelana Jaya will always be in our memories as our meeting place as it was situated right in the middle where I work/live and where he works/lives. Azry will often park his motorbike at the LRT station while I would pick him there and we would go on our date. Here I was taking a picture of myself in the rearview mirror while waiting for him at the said LRT station :

Amcorp Mall @ PJ
May 3, 2007
I love Amcorp Mall @ Petaling Jaya especially during the weekends because they have a flea market and there’s a lot of vintage stuffs sold at reasonable prices (but I have yet to find any Polaroid products). Furthermore, if you hate the crowd at cinemas during weekends at Midvalley Megamall or One Utama, you should head over to TGV Amcorp Mall. We went to watch the latest Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles there and I recalled there were probably about only 10 of us in one cinema. It is based on free seating as well so you are free to sit anywhere you wish as long as you pay.
Here is my fiance seen ogling at his favorite toy figurines at one of the stores at Amcorp Mall :

In short, if you love flea markets, cheap stuffs (who doesn’t?), good food (I recommmend Rak Thai at lower ground near Giant for scrumptous Thai food) and lesser crowd at the movies, Amcorp Mall is the way to go !
Reaching
May 3, 2007

If you reach for the moon
the least you will get
is a handful of stars.
Yet, there are those
who will not settle
for a handful of stars
but reach beyond
and it is they
who shall inherit the sky.
There are those
who will cross the widest river
and claim the new vistas
on which they land.
Then there are those
who fear to reach far enough
will not venture forth to the unfamiliar
but settle for a handful of stardust
soon to be carried on the wind
as they remain forever mired in longing.
Location : One Utama.

My fiance’s secret affair
April 27, 2007
My fiance had an affair with a green horned bacteria once. Don’t believe ? Here’s the proof :

But he dumped her because she couldn’t stop waving her fingers in the air like that.
IKEA Cafe

Everytime we go to IKEA, we will NOT forget to go to its cafe because we loooove the meatballs with the lingonberry sauce and the salmon.
Teppanyaki
April 27, 2007
I wanted to take a photo of the teppanyaki chef but was too shy to get in front of him so I get the shot of his butt and only some portion of him cooking teppanyaki.

Lesson of this shot : If you ever want to be a great photographer, don’t ever be shy ! Bulldoze your way for a great shot !
